Lifelong Learner

I attended my first writers conference four years ago this month. I’d just finished the manuscript for my first book (which took me twenty years to finish) and had an appointment with an agent to make my pitch. The meeting went well, longer than the allocated time, and she gave me good feedback.

Now, after publishing four books (the one above is in the file cabinet, needing lots of work), I realize how naive I was. I’ve learned a lot, and I’m still learning. But there’s nothing better than writing. I love it.
